Annelies is a children’s poet and author.

 

Her book Turkey Hurly-Burly won the 2024 Storylines Joy Cowley Award. She also won The Poets XYZ 2023 poetry competition. Her poems appear on the websites The Dirigible Balloon and Tyger Tyger. She volunteers in Early Childhood Education and is a Primary School Teacher. Annelies also has alopecia, but that’s neither hair nor there.
