Mary-anne Scott is a writer of junior fiction and young adult books from Havelock North, (Karanema) Hawkes Bay (Te Matau-a-Māui).
She regularly visits schools around NZ, speaking to children of all ages and she also offers workshops for young writers. Her books are a mix of adventure and hunting stories, some contemporary Y/A and a smaller chapter book for young readers. She’s a keen walker, an avid reader, a musician, a grandmother to ten and loves her golden labrador, Stevie.
